WinDriver is a C/C++ toolkit for accessing hardware without having to write device drivers. You can write once, and it will run on all of these platforms. No kernel or OS knowledge is required. WinDriver uses wizards to diagnose your hardware and automatically generate your driver code. It includes support for PLX/Altera/QuickLogic/Atmel/CYPRESS/Marvell and PLDA PCI/USB chipsets. WinDriver also provides extended support for Windows Driver Model (WDM), Plug-and-Play and Power Management.
